Getting Started

How do I open an account?

Go to Onboarding, create your profile, and complete KYC to unlock investing and trading.

Who can invest?

Individuals over 18 from supported countries with a valid ID and a verified account.

What’s the minimum investment?

Minimums vary by deal; many start from ~€50–€250. Check each offer page for specifics.

How long does setup take?

Most users complete sign-up and KYC in minutes.


Investing (Primary)

What are primary offerings?

Direct fundraising rounds from private or pre-IPO companies listed on FundedByMe with terms and disclosures.

How do I invest in a deal?

Select an offer, review the docs, choose your amount, and complete payment through the secure checkout.

When do I receive my allocation?

After the round closes and settles, allocations appear in your portfolio and you’ll get confirmation by email.

Where can I see updates?

Company updates and key documents are posted on the offer page and in your Investor Dashboard.


Secondary Market & Trading

What is the secondary market?

A venue to buy and sell shares of previously funded companies when trading is enabled for that issuer.

How do I place an order?

Go to Trade, choose the company, and submit a buy or sell order following on-screen steps.

Are there fees?

Small transaction/service fees may apply and are shown transparently before you confirm an order.

When is trading available?

Trading becomes available when the issuer activates secondary access. You’ll see “Trade Available” in your portfolio.


KYC & Payments

Why do I need KYC?

Identity verification is required by regulation to protect users and maintain platform security and compliance.

How long does KYC take?

Usually under 5 minutes with our secure digital process.

What payment methods can I use?

Card and bank transfer are supported; additional fintech rails may be available depending on your region.

When do funds settle?

Settlement timing varies by method and deal; you’ll see status in checkout and receive confirmations by email.


For Companies — Raising Capital

How do we apply to raise on FundedByMe?

Visit Raise Capital, submit your details, and our team will guide you through due-diligence and listing.

How long does listing take?

After due-diligence and final docs, most offerings go live within 7–14 business days.

What are the fees?

We use a success-based model; exact terms depend on round size and structure and are agreed before listing.

Can we enable secondary trading later?

Yes, subject to eligibility and issuer readiness. Your account manager will advise on timing and requirements.
